SHOW ME – design & art gallery

The project “Show Me” is the responsibility of the Architect Diana Sequeira and the Designer Guilherme Braga da Cruz. It Started in December 2009, in Braga, in order to disseminate new approaches and works by emerging designers and artists national and international.
After two years of existence, the gallery is recognized nationally and internationally in the area of designart (functional objects, where the designer is dedicated to the artistic exploration of the design) both for its pioneering role in the design projection and diffusion as the concern in the careful selection of high quality works. This recognition is the work that has been developed by the gallery, and also by his presence at fairs and events national and international.
The new space is inserted in a farmhouse in the village of Encourados near Barcelos. The building is an old winery and its adaptation to gallery has been achieved without losing its identity, keeping all traces and structure on the outside and inside of the building, respecting the techniques and the materials from this zone of Portugal.
This space will allow the implementation of other projects, in particular in the area of formation, the gallery want to start for next year.
Currently the gallery working with limited edition, unique pieces, prototypes and installations not only with design icons names but as young designers.
