Born in 1976, David Amar is a designer who studied at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and in ENSCI Paris. In 2004 he graduated with distinction from Bezalel’s Industrial Design department prior to moving to London. In 2008 he was awarded the Clore scholarship for MA studies, at the Royal College of Art in London and graduated in Design Product in 2010.

He has received several awards for his work and it has been exhibited in museums, galleries and shows around the world: the Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Sotheby’s in London, the Fumi gallery in London, the Design Miami, Gallery de la Manufacture in Paris, the Al-Sabah Art & Design Gallery in Kuwait, the VIA gallery in Paris, the Pavilion of Art & Design in London, the Holon Design museum, amongst others…

He lives and works in London.
